What it does

Metal Bellows Axial Expansion Joints

Metal bellows compensators are flexible connection elements used in industrial piping systems to dampen thermal expansion, contraction, axial misalignment, and mechanical vibrations caused by temperature changes. By minimizing mechanical stresses on the pipes, valves, and other fittings in the system, they preserve the structural integrity of the pipeline. The stainless steel bellows structure forming the flexible component is designed to absorb axial, lateral, or angular movements depending on the operating conditions of the line.
